DOOM RATTEX DEADLY POWDER with Brodifacoum is an anticoagulant dry bait that kills most rats and mice – including Norway rat, roof rat and house mice – after a single feed. Use it to control rodent infestations in homes, farms, stores, warehouses and grain storage areas. Also effective against Warfarin-resistant rats and mice.

Warnings

Handle with care. May cause irritation of the skin, eyes, mucous membrane and skin sensitisation. Toxic to fish and animals. Highly toxic to poultry and other birds. Poisonous when swallowed. In the case of poisoning immediately call a physician and show this label to him/her.

Caution

• Rodents killed with this product are potentially toxic when eaten by pets; should contamination occur, consult a vet immediately.
• Always dispose of dead rodents in a safe manner.

Precautions

• Wash hands with soap and water after handling.
• Prevent contamination of any food or feedstuffs, food utensils, and drinking water.
• Locate bait where it is inaccessible to children and domestic animals.
• Do not use for any other purpose.
• Destroy empty containers and do not re-use for any other purpose.
• Dispose of dead rodents and leftover bait by burning or by burying them in an area where pets are not able to dig them up.

Symptoms of Poisoning

• Bleeding from the gums and nose.
• Bleeding under the skin.
• Haemorrhage into and around elbow and knee joints.
• Blood in urine and faeces.

First Aid Treatment

In case of swallowing, take the patient to a doctor immediately. In the case of accidental eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not induce vomiting.

Note to Physician

Contact the poison centre for detailed advice on treatment.

Intravenous Vitamin K1, 10–20 mg depending on prothrombin time.

Usage Instructions

Use only as directed.

• Although Doom Rattex Powder kills most rats and mice after a single feed, check bait weekly and replenish where necessary until complete lack of feeding is noticed.
• After a single feed, death of a rodent takes 4–12 days.

Norway Rat, Roof Rat and Mice

Locate Doom Rattex Deadly Powder in places inaccessible to children and domestic animals, where there are signs of rats or mice. For larger areas, more placements are required.

Rats and Mice in the Roof

Throw Doom Rattex Deadly Powder through trap door into roof space; repeat when necessary. For heavy infestation, more than one sachet of Doom Rattex Deadly Powder may be required.
