Description

COLORTONE WATER BASED WOOD COAT  is a two-in-one lead-free wood coating that acts as a sealer and a varnish to protect all types of exterior and interior wood from the sun’s harsh ultraviolet rays. COLORTONE WATER BASED WOOD COAT is easy to apply and quick to dry. COLOR TONE WATER BASED WOOD COAT is available in teak, mahogany, dark oak, clear and white.

 

 

Application

  • Remove all existing coatings from your wooden surfaces
  • Remove all dust and wash down the wooden surfaces and allow to dry
  • Thin down your first coat by diluting COLOR TONE WATERBASED WOOD COAT with 10% water
  • Apply two further undiluted coats thereafter
  • Drying time is two hours under normal conditions of 25 degrees Celsius
  • Application by brush or roller
  • Clean your brushes and rollers with water
  • For optimal results give your surface light sand in between coats
  • Softwood coverage is 8 – 10 square meters per litre
  • Hardwood coverage is 10 12 square meters per litre

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

If we have the item in stock you will receive your order within 2-3 business days. For backorders, we endeavour to have the order in your hands within 1 week, although this time frame may be shorter/longer depending on the item’s origin. This will all be communicated but if you need an accurate delivery date it’s best to contact us beforehand to ensure you are not disappointed. Courier orders may have a lead time of 3-4 days

Why Does It Say “No Shipping Available” At Checkout?

There are a few potential reasons for this:

  1. You filled in your postal/zip code incorrectly.
  2. Your shipping address is unfortunately situated outside of our free delivery zone. Please do not proceed with payment.
  3. If you are based In Hout Bay and say “No Shipping Available”, please Fill in 7872 instead of 7806

How Often Are Online Stock Levels Updated?

At least twice a week. Unlike many online stores, Jack Hammer’s is ultimately two functioning hardware stores and therefore stock levels are changing every day. We do our best to give an accurate representation of live stock levels.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Credit/cheque cards, instant EFT and Masterpass are all processed instantly through PayFast. We also accept Direct Bank Transfers but will only deliver products once this payment reflects in our account.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

If you select PayFast as your preferred method of payment you will automatically be directed to their extremely secure server and the transaction takes place there. If you are uncertain please see their Security and Fraud Prevention page.

How Do I Place An Order?

Simply add your selected products to your Shopping Cart and once you’re finished shopping proceed to Checkout. At the checkout you must select your preferred method of payment and once completed, you will receive an email confirming your order.

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

No. You may place an order as a guest. We do recommend creating an Account to make the checkout easier as it will autofill your address and keep track of your past orders. We will not spam you with any annoying newsletters.
