Product Highlights

Thanks to the Bosch Brushless technology, the GSA 185-LI offers cordless cutting performance beyond expectation – equivalent to that of a 1,100 W corded reciprocating saw. The GSA 185-LI has a great power-to-weight ratio which makes it easier and less exhausting to work with in any position. Additionally, the toolless snap-in function ensures simple, one-handed insertion and ejection of the saw blade. The GSA 185-LI is ideal for demolition work involving a range of materials such as metal, wood, plastic, and insulation materials. It is compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System.

Equipment & Application

The GSA 185-LI is perfectly designed for close-to-wall cuts in an upside-down cutting position. Its ergonomic design shows a curved upper part of the handle which conveniently supports multi-grip positions. Speed can be adjusted easily and is continuously variable via a trigger. The reciprocating saw comes with an attachable rafter hook for hanging the balanced tool.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

If we have the item in stock you will receive your order within 2-3 business days. For backorders, we endeavour to have the order in your hands within 1 week, although this time frame may be shorter/longer depending on the item’s origin. This will all be communicated but if you need an accurate delivery date it’s best to contact us beforehand to ensure you are not disappointed. Courier orders may have a lead time of 3-4 days

Why Does It Say “No Shipping Available” At Checkout?

There are a few potential reasons for this:

  1. You filled in your postal/zip code incorrectly.
  2. Your shipping address is unfortunately situated outside of our free delivery zone. Please do not proceed with payment.
  3. If you are based In Hout Bay and say “No Shipping Available”, please Fill in 7872 instead of 7806
  4. If you are based outside of our free delivery zone say “No Shipping Available”(Courier orders). please note Gas/Construction/Compost/Kamado Jan/Braais/Pool sand or salt/Wheelbarrows/Firewood & Charcoal and Kwikot Geysers/dangerous goods/hazardous goods (e.g. aerosol cans, flammable items, toxic, gases, etc.) paint and liquids cannot be delivered. How Often Are Online Stock Levels Updated?

At least twice a week. Unlike many online stores, Jack Hammer’s is ultimately two functioning hardware stores and therefore stock levels are changing every day. We do our best to give an accurate representation of live stock levels.

Payment Information

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Credit/cheque cards, instant EFT and Masterpass are all processed instantly through PayFast. We also accept Direct Bank Transfers but will only deliver products once this payment reflects in our account.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

If you select PayFast as your preferred method of payment you will automatically be directed to their extremely secure server and the transaction takes place there. If you are uncertain please see their Security and Fraud Prevention page.

Orders and Returns

How Do I Place An Order?

Simply add your selected products to your Shopping Cart and once you’re finished shopping proceed to Checkout. At the checkout you must select your preferred method of payment and once completed, you will receive an email confirming your order.

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

No. You may place an order as a guest. We do recommend creating an Account to make the checkout easier as it will autofill your address and keep track of your past orders. We will not spam you with any annoying newsletters.

Who Should I Contact If I Have Any Queries?

Since we operate two separate shops it becomes tricky to know which branch to contact. Refund And Returns

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
