Description

The fischer gypsum plasterboard fixing GKM is made of metal. When in pre-positioned installation, the plug is screwed in either manually or with a cordless screwdriver so that it is flush to the surface in the gypsum plasterboard. No pre-drilling is required with single-planked gypsum plasterboard panels. With gypsum fibreboard and double-planked gypsum plasterboard panels pre-drilling should take place with a Ø 8 mm drill. The fischer GKM is fully delivered with a chipboard screw with a countersunk head. It is therefore universally suitable for quickly and safely mounting lights, electrical installations, and interior accessories.

 

  • Due to its material properties, the GKM can be used in gypsum plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard, and can be used with the most wide-ranging screws, hooks and eye screws. This allows for a broad range of applications.
  • The sharp, self-tapping thread enables a secure, positive fit fixing. This achieves a high load-bearing capacity.
  • The cross-drive recess means that a standard screwdriver or bit can be used. No special setting tool is required.
  • The short fixing length means that only a small amount of space is required behind the board. As a result, the GKM can also be used in the case of unknown board thickness and cavity depth.

Why Does It Say “No Shipping Available” At Checkout?

There are a few potential reasons for this:

  1. You filled in your postal/zip code incorrectly.
  2. Your shipping address is unfortunately situated outside of our free delivery zone. Please do not proceed with payment.
  3. If you are based In Hout Bay and say “No Shipping Available”, please Fill in 7872 instead of 7806
  4. How Often Are Online Stock Levels Updated?

At least twice a week. Unlike many online stores, Jack Hammer’s is ultimately two functioning hardware stores and therefore stock levels are changing every day. We do our best to give an accurate representation of live stock levels.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Credit/cheque cards, instant EFT and Masterpass are all processed instantly through PayFast. We also accept Direct Bank Transfers but will only deliver products once this payment reflects in our account.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

If you select PayFast as your preferred method of payment you will automatically be directed to their extremely secure server and the transaction takes place there. If you are uncertain please see their Security and Fraud Prevention page.

How Do I Place An Order?

Simply add your selected products to your Shopping Cart and once you’re finished shopping proceed to Checkout. At the checkout you must select your preferred method of payment and once completed, you will receive an email confirming your order.

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

No. You may place an order as a guest. We do recommend creating an Account to make the checkout easier as it will autofill your address and keep track of your past orders. We will not spam you with any annoying newsletters.

Since we operate two separate shops it becomes tricky to know which branch to contact.
