Fibaseal Acrylic Waterproofing
Fibaseal is a fibre-reinforced waterproofing compound which can be used to coat surfaces with cracks as large as 5 millimetres without the use of a membrane, making it one of the most effective coatings yet manufactured.
Fibaseal will not crack, is ultraviolet protected and can be overcoated when cured. Fibaseal is light grey in colour and has a textured finish.
FIBASEAL is a fibre-reinforced, flexible, acrylic waterproofing application which is inert when cured.
It is UV resistant and has excellent elongation properties.
Preparation for surfaces
All surfaces must be clean, free from any
contaminations and must be completely dry. All
rusted screws must be replaced. Remove all loose
particles from the substrate.
Ensure when doing concrete roof and decks, that
the screed is laid to falls. It is strongly
recommended to prime with “Bond & Seal” prior
Stir thoroughly and apply undiluted. Apply two
coats using block/paintbrush. Allow 5 – 8 hours
drying time in temperatures of preferably over 20
degrees and it is recommended to use a third coat
or a final coat 24 hours after the second coat. Clean
tools with water immediately after use. Can be used
in conjunction with a recommended filler or
builders sand to form a paste for cracks larger than
5 mm. Slight shrinkage will occur when filling large
